Romin was born and raised in Daygo and like you, loves burgers. After college he felt called to youth ministry and over the span of 10 years Romin cooked thousands of burgers for students and others in the City Heights community. In 2019 he took a deep dive into the world of burgers through Geroge Motz’s books and Alvin Cailan’s “The Burger Show'' on YouTube. He fell in love with the Oklahoma fried onion burger and started experimenting. He debuted his burger creation at a New Years party and asked a simple question, “Would you pay to have this again?” He received a resounding “YES!” and started thinking about how to make it a business. Enter our dearly beloved friend COVID, with so many other things to think about, dreams were put on halt. Then during the summer of 2020, Romin went on a day of solitude and in his time with God he couldn't stop thinking about his Burger dreams. He sensed God pushing him to take a risk, so house Pop Ups in the communities he previously lived in became the testing grounds. By the 3rd Popup Romin didn’t know 80% of the people that ordered! Fast Forward, we got legal, found a shared kitchen and we are still learning every week! We continue striving to bring you the best Burgers we can every week and hope to do so for a long time!
